License delivery methods A license can be delivered by using a license list or a credential. Differences between a credential and a license list 1. A license list is an excel file that contains the UUID and authkey fields. The license is generated during acceptance. 2. A credential is a string of letters and contains the firmware information and other information for licensing and flashing. You can enter the applied credentials in the flashing tool and flash them all. The license of a product is generated when the product is produced. Note: When flashing a credential, you must verify the firmware and other information. The flashing will fail if an incorrect firmware is used. Therefore, when you place an order, make sure that you provide the correct PID, firmware key, and version number.
